The NIDF / PEM / COPPE / UFRJ water canal was developed for the study of drag reduction activities and passive techniques applied for vessel projects. Three techniques of drag reduction will be studied, as well as procedures for the design of propellers. The project is organized around the network of scientific and technological cooperation, Pronex “Nucleus of Excellence in Turbulence”
